100 Poems Challenge

  I pick the flowers from moonlight’s gardens,  I climb the pillars to reach the sun’s rays. I follow the trail around Saturn’s seven rings to revive the spirit of my mind. Then the blue and green will turn once more when the curtains are drawn together. For the stage will be set for my journey to continue to expand my visions forever.

  The mist drifts over the weathered bridge, as the blue light enchants the silent wanderers, who hear the blessings of their saviors, yet never utter a word. The water flows unabated, reflected on the sky’s mirrored faces, and follows the stars scattered across the universe. The mist drifts over the weathered bridge, as I stand halfway to the other side. Water drips down my face and falls silently to the ground. No blessings are heard, no light is seen. Stars dance across the ballroom, smiling mysteriously down at me. I hear the voices of my future, whispering through the mist.
