#4 - Enhearten Me

Bring out a platter of blue cheese to brighten up my mood today. All I see outside my window is rain and black holes. Bring out some fresh cut roses, the epitome of everlasting beauty. They will lighten up my spirit and free me from last night’s dream. Write me a poem of the laughter we share, the happiness which envelops us. Show me how to regain it, now in this moment of strange darkness.

#3 - Bear, Tortoise, Hare

So one day,  Tortoise and Hare, they went through the woods, to see their friend Bear. Bear lived alone, in his house made of stone, and rarely had guests, except for some lingering pests. #2 - Sirens

The sirens wail, closer to us, a reminder that we are not alone. The sirens wail, flinging our memories away, clearing out our consciousness, then speed away. An eerie silence fills the air, followed by heavy thunder. It tears the Earth into a thousand pieces. The sirens wail as never before. A cry from hell and then they stop.

#1 - Hundred Moons of Bliss

Tear a fable in two, to find the way through the tunnel, where the truth lies untold, and we watch the rocks  plummet down from the sky. The universe is our liberator, who has come to rescue us, and refuses to perish, as others do. Though the sun seems to shine light upon us, it is falling, dissolving, into our own ashes. We are the hundred moons of bliss, scars that hold the world together. Yet when we turn to the haunted shadows,  we are made of nothingness.
